I finally, at the encouragement of my author workshop coaches, started an Author Facebook page. It feels a little awkward since the book is in edit mode right now. This step is definitely keeping me accountable.

Heather started my first FB page for me several years ago. She told me it was a new thing and I should create a page. After my disastrous journey through My Space I suggested she could perhaps go for it. She is usually spot on at new trends. So one evening, a few years after she created the page or profile or whatever it was named, I called to ask her if I still had one. And , by the way, how does one actually get into their account. I can still see the look on her face even though it was a phone conversation.

Sometimes you just need a friends help when starting something new or moving forward.

I’m still a little uncomfortable with all of the Social Media but I love communicating with people and sharing ideas and thoughts. I have learned that everyone on a post is not necessarily in a group conversation and LIKE is an acknowledgement of a post and does not really mean you like it or dislike it. Most important I have learned how to edit and delete posts. Quickly. Very Quickly. Because people are super fast.
